Blending freedom with support, flotilla holidays from Tortola offer a sailing holiday with a difference. During the day you’ll sail your own boat while expert crews guide you and your sailing group to some of the BVI’s best locations. Sip a cocktail as the sun slips below the horizon—the BVI is the destination of choice for the social sailor.
*Please note that our BVI flotillas will not be running throughout the rest of 2020 and 2021. We are pleased to still be able to welcome our guests back onboard for bareboat charters from December 1, 2020.

Push off from the dock and begin your flotilla adventure by sailing towards Norman Island, the southernmost region of the cruising grounds. Norman Island is also rumoured to be the inspiration behind Robert Louis Stevenson’s Treasure Island. With many underwater caves and secluded coves to explore, the snorkeling and diving here are superb. The Indians are an idyllic place to stop for lunch, and a visit to Pirate’s Bight beach bar is a must during any BVI holiday.

A best-kept secret among the Caribbean yachting community, Cooper Island is one of the smaller islands within the southern cluster that sits just below the Sir Francis Drake Channel. There are several excellent diving locations here but hands down, the thing that draws visitors in and keeps them coming back time and again is Cooper Island Beach Club. This prime spot for seaside dining, sunset cocktails, and lounging with fellow sailors never fails to deliver good times and even better company.

Leverick Bay Marina is home to a resort ideal for water sports fans, offering jetskiing, windsurfing, kite boarding and more. To the east of the marina, Leverick Bay itself provides quiet anchorage for those with more sedate tastes.

Unlike other islands formed from volcanic rock, Anegada’s coral and limestone base feature vibrant reefs and abundant marine life below the surface. Onshore, catch glimpses of rare rock iguanas and exotic birds at Nutmeg Point, or view the flamingos that reside at the salt ponds. Reserve a lobster dinner for an evening ashore, and dine under a canopy of stars.
