The Moore Blatch Silicon Cup Regatta

This year's most exciting sailing event

The Moore Blatch Silicon Cup gathers IT Vendors, Channel Partners, MSPs, Cloud Providers, Saas/ISVs, Private Equity firms and Corporate Financial Advisers for a two-day charity sailing event. It's a platform for strategic networking designed to entertain, excite, reward, connect, and give back.

Starting from Port Solent, Portsmouth, The Moore Blatch Silicon Cup is the sailing regatta for the IT industry, welcoming hundreds of industry professionals to the Solent for the excitement of yacht racing combined with the networking, team building and social aspects associated with it. The event is a fantastic way to develop teamwork with the people you work with, get in front of potential new clients and partners, entertain key business partners and strengthen working relations. The Regatta welcomes new teams as well as previous competitors from many years. Sailing experience is not necessary, as training from our professional crew will be given throughout the event.

Charities

Being on the water, racing yachts alongside your colleagues, clients and suppliers is a great adventure not to be missed. However, the Silicon Cup has a secondary focus and that is to raise awareness and money for the event’s charities of choice, Dreams Come True, Jubilee Sailing Trust and the Andrew Simpson Foundation, details of which are below.

DREAMS COME TRUE

Each year 10,000 children in the UK are diagnosed with life threatening and long-term illnesses. With your help Dreams Come True can put smiles on the faces of many more sick children.

JUBILEE SAILING TRUST

The Jubilee Sailing Trust is a registered charity whose mission is to promote the integration of people of all physical abilities via the challenge and adventure of sailing tall ships on the open sea.

ANDREW SIMPSON FOUNDATION

The Foundation provides the challenges of a sailing environment to promote health and wellbeing, and to develop personal skills that will improve a young person’s ability to succeed in life and work.
