A true sailor's yacht, the Sunsail First 40  is a thoroughbred racer/cruiser, adaptable for both. Drawn by Farr Yacht Design and built by Beneteau, the First 40 has a modern, spacious and comfortable interior. Indentically matched and exclusive to our Port Solent base, the Sunsail Match First 40 fleet is purpose-built for the cut-and-thrust of one-design racing on the Solent.

Originally based on the Beneteau First 40, tweaked for optimum racing performance, the Match First 40 has serious pedigree. Predecessors have recorded race wins in the Rolex Sydney to Hobart race and strong showings in the Rolex Fastnet Race.

These performance yachts come with a three cabin, single head layout and have a large wheel, spacious open cockpit and large sail plan (including masthead spinnaker). In addition to the standard specifications, this outstanding yacht also comes with heating & chartplotter.
